If you are looking for a job for the first time, the law waives the fees for the documents employers ask for. Get a Barangay Certification, sign the Oath of Undertaking, and the PESO registers you as a beneficiary — valid for one year, once in a lifetime.

Who qualifies?
- First time to look for work — never employed
- Filipino citizen of any age
- Resident of the barangay issuing the certification
- Not yet a beneficiary (the benefit can be used only once)
Required documents
- Barangay Certification as a first-time jobseeker (from your Punong Barangay)
- Oath of Undertaking (signed at the barangay / PESO)
- One valid ID
How it works
- Get the First Time Jobseeker certification from your barangay
- Register here or at the PESO — we witness your Oath of Undertaking
- Receive your PESO Certificate of Registration with QR code
- Present it to the issuing office to get the document for free
- Report to the barangay once you get hired
