Government Internship Program

Three to six months of paid internship in a government office.

GIP gives young graduates their first work experience inside government — the municipal hall, national agencies and schools — while earning 75% of the regional minimum wage for three to six months.

Who qualifies?

Aged 18 to 30
High school, senior high, ALS or tech-voc graduate
No work experience yet (or none relevant)
Willing to render full-time service in a government office

Required documents

Diploma or certificate of graduation
PSA birth certificate
Barangay certificate of residency
One valid ID and a résumé

How it works

Apply here or at the PESO
PESO evaluates and approves
Attend the GIP orientation (required before deployment)
Deployment to an office for 3–6 months at 75% of the minimum wage
Certificate of completion — counts as work experience
